Hello Friends, Supporters, and Prayer Partners,
As many of you know, we have been trying to stay active and involved in the mission field, while at the same time, caring for Beverly's 90 year-old mother. She continues to struggle with her many health issues. Try as we might, we just cannot go out as missionaries, and be here for Mother, all at the same time.
And so, it is with great disappointment that we have decided to leave the mission field, in order to be her Caregivers for 24-hours-a day and 7-days-a week. It is more than a full-time job, but one that we both do willingly and lovingly. We seem to be the designated adult children that are the best-suited and the most willing to do it. Most importantly, the Lord is in it and we know that He desires for us to do this. She needs our help now, and we want to be there for her.
For all our financial supporters, we want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU for standing with us and behind us! Your support has shown us that you have believed in us, and in furthering God's Kingdom. May the Lord bless you for it! And so, for now, please stop sending financial support for us, to M.B.I. We sure love all of you who have been so very faithful to us, and to the pray-ers out there, too. God's kingdom only moves forward on the knees of His praying servants.
We do pray that maybe one day in the not-too-distant future, we can go back to the field.
Working together with you in His Vineyard,
Your Friends,
Don and Beverly Dennison

Merry Christmas to One and All!
We want to wish you all a joyous Christmas season and a Happy New Year! Also, we want to take this opportunity
to express our thankfulness to God for His faithfulness
throughout this year, and to you, our dear family and
friends for standing with us in our ministry.
Beverly's book is doing very well, because there are morebook sellers that are providing it for sale, so Amazon
has lowered the price of the book by 20%. Here is a link
to the website: http://www.amazon.com/Survey-American-Christian-Theatre-
1975/dp/3639162234. We believe that the price of the book
will come down more in early 2011.
If you are looking to invest some money by the end of thisyear for tax purposes, may we suggest that you invest in
our ministry?

We have been her main caregivers and it is an honor to
do so.

3. Time for Don to complete a book he has been writing.
4. Pray for Beverly's book to do well in 2011.

Hello Friends,
Things are changing for us. It seems that transition is in the air, and we have recently made a major decision. As you may remember from our previous newsletters, Beverly's 90 year-old mother has been struggling with Congestive Heart Failure, among other health issues. Understandably, we want to be available to help her, where she lives alone in Oceanside, CA. To be able to do this, we are going to move our ministry to Mission Builders International. MBI is part of Youth With A Mission (YWAM), with whom we served in Chico, CA. MBI works at YWAM Bases around the world, doing various service projects from administration to logistics. Don will be going on his first project in early January of 2011. His plan is to go on several projects in 2011, that are each 6 to 12 weeks long. If all goes well, Beverly will join in many of them.
At this time, please stop sending any financial support for us to Good News Community Church in Carthage, NC.
From now on, please send any future support to:

Hey Y’all!
What an incredible journey we had to the town of War, West Virginia in August! Eight of us loaded up two truck-loads, plus a trailer-full of clothing and school supplies for the underprivileged people of this remote community. It was a 6-hour trip each way, and we came home tired, yet refreshed in the knowledge that these items made a difference in their lives! Our guide was Sherry Keith, who has been committed to this ministry for many years. This was a church-sponsored trip and many folks within Good News Community Church (GNCC), and others gathered school supplies and clothing to donate. We presented most of the items to Pastor Cecil of Lighthouse Community Church, and he will in turn distribute them to those most in need. While at the church, we praised the Lord through hill country gospel music. We also shared a “Cup of Faith” together, in remembrance of Him. Don had the opportunity to play the base wash tub, which is an actual instrument! Pastor Cecil and his wife were so kind as to prepare us a meal of pinto beans, corn bread, and fresh tomatoes. They have so little, yet they were so generous with us. That really touched our hearts. Towards the end of our time there, Pastor Cecil led us into a few “Hollers”. It was a thrill for us to be able to pass out notebooks, paper, pencils, markers, and most of all CANDY to the children there! It was a great time of fellowship had by all!
On the home front, we have been Greeters at the front door of the church for both services. What a great way to get to know people! We are praying about doing one ministry trip this fall, to serve with Mission Builders international (MBI). However, at this time, we are unsure as to where that may be. We hope that in 2011, we will be able to take several trips to serve with MBI.
At the present time, the LORD is directing us to serve Him with Good News Community Church as missionaries, and with Mission Builders International (YWAM). Again, let us say that this is not a salary position, so we are continuing to raise support… We are now at 88% of what we need each month. We’re almost fully-funded, and we’d appreciate your prayers for the remaining 12%. Thanks so much!
You can invest in God’s Kingdom through us. Your financial support to us is Tax-Deductible. Please make the check out to Good News Community Church, and attach a ‘post-it note’ with our names. They will be processing our support money, and receipts will be sent out at year’s end.
Serving Him Together,
Don and Beverly
